Evan Chandler's son accused King of Pop Michael Jackson of molesting him at Neverland Ranch.

The father of a boy who accused Michael Jackson of molestation in 1993 blew out his brains in his luxury New Jersey apartment, cops said Tuesday.

Evan Chandler, 65, whose son received a multimillion-dollar settlement from the King of Pop, was discovered in his 16th- floor waterfront pad in Jersey City with his gun still in his hand.

Chandler took his own life Nov. 5, Jersey City police spokesman Stan Eason said. The concierge of Chandler's building found the body.

"He [Chandler] was on his bed still holding the weapon with a single gunshot wound to the head," Eason said. "It's straightforward. Case closed. It's suicide."

I saw THIS IS IT again today ... Sunday, Nov 8th

I went to go see THIS IS IT again today, and while my spirits flew the first time I saw it, I cried a lot this time.  I just thought ... to see that talent ...stamped out ... it just broke my heart.  It was still an unbelievable experience, and very inspirational,  but my reaction was different.

I would like to hear your reactions after seeing THIS IS IT the second, third, fourth or more times.

I guess we are just going to have to universally grieve his loss together and then do the best we can to keep the gifts he gave us, alive.

The latest TMZ reports

I have been watching the recent TMZ reports with dismay. All I can do is remind people that TMZ is a "trash bin" where all dirty laundry gets thrown and rehashed. The idea of the TMZ show and website is to spread scandal. It is for this reason that a man who has such great respect and stature, such as Tom Mesereau, would probably never go on the show voluntarily. Sometimes, it is better to ignore wild claims and crazy accusations, because the more you protest, the more "real" it begins to seem in people's minds. I find that staying with the facts -- has always worked best for me. I try to be as straight and honest as I can when I report... and as an investigative crime author for over 20 years, that creed has never failed me. To all those who are upset with the recent "trash" being thrown up against the wall -- and bunch of garbage being thrown to see what will stick -- I say, let it go. What would Michael do? He would refuse to dignify this nonsense with any response at all. Michael Jackson has a film out that shows his genius in every possible form... but people don’t want to focus on that. As long as we continue to contemplate garbage, we perpetuate the cycle of trash that insults his genius and hurts his legacy.
